Tate Modern

This phenomenal modern and contemporary art museum is housed in a former power station designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and built between 1947 and 1963. The main area consists of 8 sections, each with a certain theme or subject. The Tate's online services include a virtual tour of the museum, a large selection of artworks, and a series of online exhibitions in which art is interpreted in a new, innovative way.
