It covers a range of topics based on sound academic research – everyday life, the Berlin Wall, the Stasi and much more. Explore all aspects of daily life behind the Berlin Wall and the workings of state and Stasi – all under one roof. Located in the governmental district of East Germany, right on the river Spree, opposite the Berlin Cathedral, the museum is the 11th most visited museum in Berlin.
