Kleinod

Kleinod is a work that means ‘jewel’ or ‘gem’ and this cocktail bar glamorously lives up to its namesake. Featuring a 1930s-inspired art deco interior design, and housing many luscious little nooks for a romantic evening, the dark polished wood tones and crystalline lighting conjure up another time – one where F. Scott and Zelda might have found themselves at home – while the drinks introduce an innovative anachronistic flair. Kleinod serves up cutting-edge mixes, from wasabi martinis to a Lebkuchen (gingerbread) cocktail, within the confines of its vintage time-capsule at the very center of Vienna.  For innovative present-day drinks and a romantic glamor on loan from bygone era, this sophisticated gem is hard to pass up.

 

NB: This used to be one of the many locales where smoking was permitted but this is no longer the case since Vienna’s indoor smoking ban came into effect in November 2019.
