Lisboa Oriente

Built in 1998, this iron and glass building is one of the world's largest train stations. Designed by star architect Santiago Calatrava, it's a captivating work of modern architecture and is worth a visit even if you're not traveling anywhere. It's especially beautiful at night when it is illuminated.
