Norwegian Rain / T-Michael / Fjordfiesta

Concept store at Paleet that stocks three completely different but complementary brands: Norwegian Rain, T-Michael, and Fjordfiesta. Inspired by a combination of Japanese sensibility and life in rain-soaked Bergen, Norwegian Rain's stylish coats, jackets and ponchos are all functional and waterproof, without looking like it.

The store also has T-Michael's suits, shirts, bags, shoes, scarves, and cufflinks, including the award-winning T-KIMONO.

Fjordfiesta is both a design office and a furniture producer. They use high-quality materials in their products, which are all made in Norway. Combining quality, technology, and environmental concern, Fjordfiesta strives to produce modern classics.

The concept store is located in the rooms of the former Restaurant Blom, which has greatly influenced Oslo's artists and free-thinkers from the late 1800s onwards. Here, the Artists' Association of Norway was founded and Restaurant Blom was the first restaurant in Oslo to allow women to dine without being accompanied by a man. Henrik Ibsen and Bokken Lassen were among its regular customers.
