Madal Espresso & Brew Bar

The first Madal Cafe was founded in May 2013 in Budapest as one of the first specialty coffee shops in the city. Since then we expanded and you can find us now at three locations. Our aim is to give a great coffee experience to our guests and also to establish a small island of peace in the whirl of the city where everybody is welcome. We got our name after the peace philosopher Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) whose philosophy inspired us and whose childhood nickname was “Madal”. We roast our own coffee every week in our specialty micro-roastery near Budapest, since 2014.
